The European Tile profile was designed to install over a 2 x 2 batten system, this profile brings old-world charm and modern performance together in one refined design.
European Tile installs on 12.5-inch centers, making it especially convenient for non-walkable or steep-sloped roofs (over 36.5°). The system is installed from ridge to eave, allowing for easy replacement of individual panels if damage ever occurs — for instance, from falling debris.
Because the 2 x 2 batten system can be applied over most existing roofs, it provides built-in ventilation between layers, improving energy efficiency and moisture control.
