The Heavy Shake profile offers the rugged, natural look of heavy cut cedar shakes with all the benefits of engineered metal. Like the European Tile, it installs over a 2 x 2 batten system, allowing for proper ventilation and installation over most existing roofs.
Heavy Shake panels are installed on 12.5-inch centers, making them a smart choice for steep-sloped or non-walkable roofs (over 36.5°). Installation runs from ridge to eave, which means that if a panel is ever damaged – for example, by a fallen branch – it can be replaced individually without disturbing the rest of the roof.
Minimum slope: 3/12 (14°).
